Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction

    These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the FurryCare platform, henceforth referred to as the "PLATFORM". For the purposes of this document, a "USER" is defined as a pet owner user in the platform, while "PROVIDER" defines the service providers affiliated with the platform. A "SERVICE" is defined as a specific activity performed by the provider for a user in exchange for a fee.


  2. Acceptance of Terms

    By using the platform, the user accepts the terms and conditions documented here, which may be subject to review without prior notice, but which shall be notified to the users of the platform either through email or on the platform. The user must be of legal age or have a legal guardian who can attest to the usage of the platform on behalf of underage users. It is also advisable, although not a requirement, to have a pet in ownership for use of this platform.


  3. User Accounts and Registration

    For using the platform, a user must create an account using their active phone number or email, and a password which they must keep secured at the user's own responsibility. The phone number or email must be accessible to the user for verification and security purposes. For services that require home visits, the user's phone number and a valid address must be included for the provider to travel to. The information provided by the user must be accurate to the best of his/her knowledge.


  4. Services Offered

    The platform, in association with its providers, provides services in three (3) modes, namely, online calls with audio and video, home visits to the user's home, and clinic appointments. Users on the platform can find veterinarians and pet clinics (collectively dubbed providers) associated with the platform within the platform and place requests of any of the 3 modes based on availability and eligibility of specific services. The specific service eligibility is dependent on the service and user's pet type being compatible.

    All services provided on the platform that involve pet healthcare are from verified licensed veterinarians.

    Users cannot place orders for services combining the different modes of service, for example, a user cannot take online consultation and home visit services in the same order.


  5. Fees and Payments

    The platform takes a small commission for each service served by providers to users, and the process is protected with contracts with each provider. The services in the platform have prices attached which, combined with other applicable charges such as home visit fee, shall construe the total amount payable by the user. The payment is possible to be made either online through partnered payment gateways or with cash, given that cash payment is not acceptable with online consultation orders. While a clinic's service can be paid for with cash, a slot booking fee must be paid online to ensure a booked slot. The platform reserves the right to not refund the slot booking fee in case of no-show or cancellation of appointments. Payment for home services can be made online or in cash when the provider completes the order.


  6. User Responsibilities

    Users must agree not to misuse the platform, engage in unauthorized activities, or violate any laws while using the platform. Users are expected to respect providers and their time by not placing orders or requesting services that do not conform to the requirements of the services offered.

    This platform values everyone's privacy and does not condone sharing of personal information under any circumstances, unless otherwise required by law enforcement to share it. Users and providers using the platform to set up a service request and then removing the platform to independently get served will be in clear violation of the platform's terms of service.

    The platform will not be liable for any service or provider issues of any kind if the platform is removed from the process. Users must also adhere to the requirements of the platform, including, but not limited to, additional services being requested must be set in the platform to get support for those services. Users must also ensure the safety of the provider is not at risk under any circumstances if it is within the user's domain of control.


  7. Intellectual Property

    The platform and its content are intellectual properties of FurryCare and it reserves the right to make and revoke any changes to it without prior notice or warning. The personal information of users are kept private and protected with policies described in the Privacy Policy.


  8. Limitation of Liability

    The platform shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the services provided. This includes, but is not limited to, damages or perceived damages to pet health, such as injury or pet death, caused by the service provider, whether deliberately or accidentally, or due to other circumstantial reasons.

    The platform also disclaims liability for any incidents caused, deliberately or accidentally, to the service provider, user, or other objects of the user's or service provider's property.

    The platform further disclaims any liability caused due to incidents that occur due to services rendered by provider to user without using the platform as an intermediary.


  9. Termination

    The platform reserves the right to terminate services for users violating the terms without notice. The accounts of users and their data are always permissible to be removed completely on account closure. To be considered for account closure, any payment dues owed to provider or platform must be paid in full prior to deactivating or deleting the account. The platform also reserves the right to terminate service orders for users in case of violations to the accepted terms of use. The user shall be notified of such updates and actions may be taken to handle disputes depending on the severity of the issue.


  10. Governing Law

    The platform and its services, providers, and users are all subject to the laws and regulations as determined by the People's Republic of Bangladesh and shall be the supreme authority in judging disputes and violations.
