  1. Introduction

    EMERGENCY DISCLAIMER: FurryCare is NOT an emergency service. If your pet is in a life-threatening condition or requires urgent immediate medical attention, please visit the nearest physical emergency veterinary clinic immediately.

    These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the FurryCare platform, henceforth referred to as the "PLATFORM". For the purposes of this document, a "USER" is defined as a pet owner or authorized caretaker using the platform, while "PROVIDER" defines the service providers (Veterinarians and Clinics) affiliated with the platform. A "SERVICE" is defined as a specific activity performed by the provider for a user in exchange for a fee.

  2. Acceptance & Registration

    By using the platform, the user accepts these terms and conditions in full. The user must be of legal age or have a legal guardian who can attest to the usage of the platform on behalf of underage users. To use the platform, a user must create an account using an active phone number or email and a secure password. The user is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials.

    The phone number or email must be accessible for verification and security purposes. For services requiring home visits, the user must provide a valid and accurate physical address. All information provided must be accurate to the best of the user's knowledge.

  3. Services Offered

    FurryCare acts as an intermediary technology platform. All PROVIDERS ARE INDEPENDENT PROFESSIONAL CONTRACTORS AND ARE NOT EMPLOYEES OF FURRYCARE. We facilitate three modes of service: online calls (audio/video), home visits, and clinic appointments.

    Online Consultation Limitations: Online sessions are conducted based on the user's description and the provider's visual observation via camera. These are not a substitute for a physical examination. If a provider deems a physical visit necessary for an accurate diagnosis, the user must comply by visiting a clinic or requesting a home visit.

    Service eligibility is dependent on compatibility between the specific service and the user's pet type. All healthcare services are provided by verified, licensed veterinarians.

  4. Fees and Payments

    The platform charges a commission for services, protected by contracts with providers. Total payable amounts include service fees and applicable charges like home visit fees. Payments are accepted via partnered online gateways (bKash/AamarPay) or Cash (except for online consultations).

    The Clinic Slot Booking Fee is a non-refundable commitment fee required to secure an appointment. FurryCare reserves the right to not refund this fee in cases of user-initiated cancellation or no-shows. Payments for home services can be settled online or in cash upon completion.

  5. User Responsibilities

    Safety: Users must ensure the safety of the provider during home visits. This includes properly restraining or muzzling pets with a known history of aggression and providing a safe, clean environment for the service.

    Platform Circumvention: Users and providers are strictly prohibited from bypassing the platform to transact independently for services initiated via FurryCare. Violation of this clause will lead to permanent account suspension and forfeiture of platform-backed support or dispute resolution.

    Users must use electronic prescriptions responsibly and as directed.

    Misuse of the platform or violation of any laws will result in immediate termination of access.

  6. Limitation of Liability

    The platform shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the services. This includes, but is not limited to, medical malpractice, injury, or pet death caused by the independent service provider.

    FurryCare disclaims all liability for incidents occurring if the platform is removed from the service process. In case of disputes, FurryCare's support team may act as a mediator, but the platform's decision based on its logs and records shall be final.

  7. Termination and Governing Law

    FurryCare reserves the right to terminate accounts without notice for violations of these terms. All interactions are subject to the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, which shall be the supreme authority in judging disputes.
